are inevitable. Big ones, small ones, seemingly meaningless ones, and ones that alter your life completely and forever. Changes are not to be feared. The discomfort that goes along with them – necessary. Some of you may already be experiencing the discomfort of allergies as the season changes into spring. With that change comes warmth, flowers, abundance in your garden, happy bees and more honey to eat.
I beckon this change in season alongside the many other discomforts and changes in my life currently. One of those changes being my body as I grow a baby – I am 18 weeks pregnant with my first. Due August 2026! And with the growing of my family comes another worthy change in my life – a shift into motherhood.
I will be transitioning into full-time mothering, homemaking, caretaking over these next few months. I am closing my studio doors at the end of March – if you’d like a last tune up before I close, text me!! I will continue to teach group yoga classes at The Barns of Rose Hill in Berryville until I am closer to my due date.
Hatha for Strength & Balance – this is a six week series starting March 10th at 3PM. For intermediate/advanced students. Follow link for details and registration.
Hatha for Hip Mobility – This is a six week series starting March 10th at 4:30PM. Practitioners of all levels encouraged to participate. Follow link for details and registration.
I look forward to seeing you all in class at The Barns over the next few months until baby is here. Once baby is here, I will be officially a SAHM. The title I have dreamed of my whole life. Of course I will wander back into teaching yoga classes(sooner rather than later for my own sanity), doing Doula work, and eventually becoming a Midwife(another dream I’ve carried a long time). But I am so so so looking forward to this chapter of motherhood.
Catch me while ya can. See you all on the mat.
With Gratitude, Hunter Nicole Norwood.
