Birth and Postpartum Circle – January 12th at 2pm
Ivy Doula Group will be facilitating a space for mothers where no topics are off limits. Doulas and Lactation Specialists will be available to talk all things pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and lactation. Babies in arms are welcome. Teen moms, seasoned moms, and everyone in between. Come as you are.
The birth and postpartum circle is free to the community. Due to space, it is limited to 10 people. Please RSVP by texting Amanda Hartman 703-608-0890.
Closing of the Bones Workshop – January 19th at 1pm
Rachel Swan Johanneck, a postpartum doula, will be teaching about the Closing of the Bones Ceremony. This ceremony is rooted in traditional postpartum care and in nurturing and honoring a postpartum mother.
Bring yourself, a journal if you’d like, and whatever you need to be comfortable.
